Medical Technology is responsible for technical support to healthcare regarding patient-related medical equipment for the entire Region Västernorrland. The work requires great consideration for the operations and a service-oriented approach.

We are now looking for a Medical Engineer to join us at Medical Technology. We are looking for someone who performs their work with precision and places great importance on meeting quality standards. A prerequisite for the job is good teamwork skills but also the ability to take initiative as the tasks often involve independent work. You also have the ability to plan your work effectively and meet set deadlines.

To give you a good start in the job, an engineer in the unit will be available as a mentor during your introduction period. We work with continuous professional development and adapt training according to responsibilities.

The position is a permanent employment with immediate start, located in Örnsköldsvik.

Job Responsibilities

As an engineer with us, you will have varied tasks with cutting-edge technology!

You will work with corrective and preventive maintenance as well as functional and safety checks of medical technology equipment. You play an important role from procurement, installation, and management to training and advising users. The work area includes hospitals, primary care, and home care.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Is a trained engineering graduate with a focus on Medical Technology or has another relevant education that we assess as equivalent
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
• Has good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form
• Has a B driver's license

It is an advantage if you

• Have practical experience in service and maintenance of technical equipment in a healthcare environment
• Have experience with IT and IT networks, preferably related to medical technology equipment
• Have knowledge in the gas and liquid area
